Ramon Malavé

Ramon is world champion in karate and one of the world's top coaches and instructors. With his knowledge and experience he has created the style of Malavé Karate Do.


Ramon is both World Champion and European Champion. He has won the French Open in kumite. Ramon has also won the Grand Prix in kata and two bronze medals in kata at the European Championships. The medal harvest is including nine medals at World and European individual, team kumite and kata. Ramon is the only operator in the world to win a medal in both kumite and kata during a single event. 1984 he was appointed Stockholms best athlete in all categories.


National coach
Ramon's coach 1991-1998 and 2004-2006 sports manager coached the Swedish karate national team to multiple World Cup and European Championship successes, such as World Championships (Theresa Larsson), World Championship bronze (Reza Mohseni), World Championship silver in the Men's Team (1992 Madrid ).


International leader
2006 was Ramon the European Karate Federation (EKF)
selected as one of five members to serve on the Technical Committee (TC). Members have overall responsibility for the supervision and development of rules, regulations and technical equipment for competitions in EKF.
